Hi I am a novice and am having trouble with my PVR. My son transferred a heap of movies and music files onto the PVR and now I can't record TV programs. I can select the program I want to record - the PVR recognises it and confirms that it is going to record, and then a message appears 'bad disc' any suggestions out there. My son has suggested 'formatting' the hard drive, but I don't want to loose all my data.

HELP!

Connect the player to your pc with the suplied usb cable and do a check disk

The computer is still checking the PVR - as I have lots of files this could take forever.

Well lets hope the disc is not broken and that windows can repair the filesystem.
