My 3 weeks old tablet has this issue with the android browser very slow. It takes a long time for the next action to be executed. This slightly improved after I installed the dolphin browser, but there's still a lag before a pop out dialog box asking whether I want to wait or kill off the current process. So far only opera mobile works without lag. My tablet has been updated to the lastest firmware.

We are using the same firmware and hardware. I always browsing the web using our office network and a normal 3G USB modem and seems to work fine with us. Perhaps you can try another web browser like opera or firefox and see if it gives some improvement on your side.
