I am looking for a way to install linux on veolo.
There are ubuntu's for mele boxes, but I did not find anything for veolo.
Apparently "thewizzy" managed to install ubuntu using linux installer.
There are installers on play store e.g.:

I saw also tutorials on youtube showing how to install linux under android OS.
Has anyone experience with theese installers?

i managed successfully update my veolo to ICS 4.0.3. i have used windows xp computer, uart to usb converter http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-USB-2-0-TO ... 0923619625 , and mini-g ics update http://www.g-mini.ru/media/uploads/file ... 121130.rar, but i flashed veolo with fastboot3.1.8 from here http://ul.to/ys6rtsy1 . by the way uart to usb converter needs to be connected as per flashing manual but without +3.3v cable. just 3 connections needs to be connected: gnd, tx, rx. flashing instruction included inside mini-g update folder, just needs to be translated from russian. everything works as it should, i think veolo acts faster. but xbmc not working:(
i can install xbmc for android, but it says you hardware not supported on first run. everythink else works from googleplay.
remember, by flashing ics update you need to open veolo and you going to lose your warranty. by the way you going to lose veolo booting screen. it just says android booting.

I am awaiting the official ics rom and will be offering some kind of onofficial service to flash it to ics for eurpeon customers. More info about that soon as soon as i recieve the offcial ics rom

Little question did you also connected the powersuply from the veolo while flashing ?
