 Problem maintaining WI-FI connection
Hello,
I bought my VEOLO last month. I upgraded it to the latest firmware. Everything works great, except its ability to maintain wi-fi connection.
Wi -fi connection gets interrupted when streaming content, such as Youtube videos or videos from a browser.
This wi-fi interruption occurs every 10-15 minutes, but it repairs itself after 40, or so, seconds.
Normal browsing does not seem to affect the wi-fi; it is only the streaming that interrupts it.
I tried to position the wi-fi router right next to VEOLO, but that did not resolve the problem.
Has anyone come across such a problem and/or has a potential solution?

 Re: Problem maintaining WI-FI connection
Hi, for this case you can try to check the DHCP lease time of your router. Please go to your router settings and set it to maximum.

 Re: Problem maintaining WI-FI connection
Alright. Does this interruption means that it disconnect or totally cut off the connection to your router? Strange case if it is, the only thing we could suggest for you to do is to try it on other network and monitor again. If you do not have such setup, I hope you can bring it down to our service center. Please take note that for this case, we might require some time to check.

Can you give more details about your issue like the period of time it disconnect, is it always on the same time or just randomly. Same with romano, the only setup that we can test to isolate this issue is to try it on a different network as it could be caused by configuration, distance, interference, etc.

 Re: Problem maintaining WI-FI connection
Hi Roger,
I am unable to ascertain whether the device disconnects or fully cuts off, because after 15 seconds, the connection re-installs, so I simply don't have enough time to access the settings and determine the reason the wi-fi disconnection.
I have other devises at home, such as a computer, a laptop, cellphone and ipod touch- all those devises have no problem connecting to my wi-fi home network and maintain that connection.
Unfortunately, there is no service centre of A.C. Ryan in Australia.
Do you have any other alternative suggestions for me?
