BDrip to MKV not showing subs
If I rip a BD with MakeMKV the existing subs are shown on the PC but not visiable on ACRyan. If I choose, using the ACRyan, "subtitle" on the remote I can still select the subs (language) but not select position, size and timedelay, nor can I choose font and colour. Do I need to rip the subs separately and then use MKVtoolnix to make the MKV with subs correctly or is the a more simple way to get 'm visiable?

Re: BDrip to MKV not showing subs
Can you try to put the subtitle option to on in the settings menu of the player ?
There was a bug in older fw that makes the subs go auto off when this option was off

There was a bug in older fw that makes the subs go auto off when this option was off I can even select any other subtitle in the MKV there is. Problem is that whatever you select, it's not visiable during playing the MKV... In the main menu (settings) the sub option is on (that was the first thing I looked for...). FYI, latest fw is running.

Re: BDrip to MKV not showing subs
BD have subtitle format called PGS, this is an image based subtitle type and it is totally different from text based subtitle like SRT. If your MKV do have the original subs from your BD then you cannot alter or change it, meaning you cannot change the size, position and color. Also it is not supported by our media player.
For you case, you can try to use MKVtoolnix to embed a new subtitle but this is quite troublesome, I'd suggest that you just download the proper SRT subtitle. Rename the srt subs the same as the movie title name and saved it on the same folder.

Re: BDrip to MKV not showing subs
Funny that with BD ISO-files the same PGS subs are visiable...
