Hi daprodigy, yes it does support hidden network. As to the procedure mentioned by Arne, I would just like to add that you have to keyin the proper information as it is case sensitive and the correct security. Hope you can try it again.

Hi,

I just wanted to confirm that I use a non-broad-casted SSID at home with my Veolo on without any issues.

This does not however work on our later SDK for our Realtek products.

Best regards,

hi Mikael,

I wanted to try this one out however my Veolo seems to be faulty today. I cant get it to boot up. This is the 3rd time in a month. The past 2 times I put in a usb thumb drive with an older firmware and after downgrading it worked and I could upgrade to the latest firmware again. This time the Veolo screen keeps flickering on and off and never gets to the home page. I cant even flash the firmware from the USB drive anymore. Any inputs? Thanks

Hi dapr0digy,

I'm sorry for your inconvenience.

If you can't flash the firmware and boot up the player into the main menu when using the safe recovery method?

Then you have to use your warranty as this would be the only way to troubleshoot and get the device back to normal.

If you can get into the GUI / menu, then you can try to reset the device to factory defaults, but you don't seem to be able to do this. If this also has happened previously as you explain, then this does not sound like a fully working device.

Please contact your re-seller or any of our service centers. You have the details here: www.acryan.com/support
