Re: *Sticky* How to improve your flash playback with VEOLO
It is not an issue of quality. The Buttons of the Flash-Player of Youtube or other sites are not all reachable. One thing is the issue that I cannot change the resolution of the movies in Youtube. Also I had the issue that other internetservices like Livetv (as app or in browser) or other Moviesites has a blank square on the movie so that I cannot see the movie behind the blank square. This happens often if there is an popup-ad before the movie starts.
Youtube XL is an alternative but not comfortable like the standard YouTube Homepage.

Br, Hueseyin Hello, This is since you require a higher version of flash on YouTube and other sites as well than we currently support with VEOLO. If you want to enjoy YouTube in HD, just use the mentioned www.youtube.com/xl URL or the official YouTube app from the android market. Br,

Re: *Sticky* How to improve your flash playback with VEOLO
hey Arne, i do understand that this is about the flash version but why not at least update to 10.2? I tried installing flash 11 which works fine but it does not have the hardware boost which is needed for smooth playback. Really love the device apart from a few minor things! mvg Linuxxer

Our developers are working on this at the moment. So in near future the problem that you cannot change the resolution for example will be fixed. Also some other minor fixes will come such as several problems with overlaying windows. If this will ultimately result in a flash update is not clear yet as those issues can be fixed in 10.1 as well. That's all i can tell you for now as we do not have a confirmed timeline yet when this will be implemented in an official release. I can update this post once this happens.
thanks for your feedback & best regards,

thanks for your feedback & best regards, Oh yes, the overlaying windows in the browser as well on some livetv-apps are very annoying.

Re: *Sticky* How to improve your flash playback with VEOLO
Any news about the no sound issue?
I have the Firmware_VEOLO_ACR-VE91200_v1.0.0.932 (tried both Asian and European versions) I have Flash 10.1 (downloaded and installed from this thread)
But still don't have sound, video works fine when using the built in browser but no sound. Some sites work and some don't. I am trying to watch iSky which is a NZ service provided by Sky TV.
Watching TVonDemand works fine which is also a NZ service that uses embedded flash videos.
Also tried dolphin hd browser and Firefox dolphin hd browser keeps crashing and Firefox doesn't recognize my flash player.
I also tried the recommendations provided above where changing the HDMI setting which also didn't help.
Thanks

Any news guys?
I bought this thinking it would have good support but looks like AC Ryan are not addressing customers issues.
Time to look at a different option perhaps
