Hi, I have just got my new toy and wondering why a Delete all option is provided ! My kids wil use this and i do not want them to accidentally clean my hard disk ? Is there a way to disable this ?

as every electronic device also the VEOLO has a factory data reset option as well as a format option to 'clean' the internal storage. This is not unusual and you need this option to simply reset the unit if you want to. This can have various reasons for example if an app made the player crash or not usuable anymore. Than you can simply reset it. Also over time people tend to install app after app and at some point the player will become slow. This is the same as on every OS where you always have the possibility to reset the unit / os.
I would recommend you to 'educate' your children to not use this option than.

I will have to figure out a way as my kids are only 5 and not still the age to take instructions

Just worried that they don't clean the entire hard disk away ...

actually we will forward this suggestion to our developers. Maybe it is possible to build-in a password check. I am not sure if this can be easily done but will let you know when get a reply from our team. Hope for the time being you can 'secure' your date from your kids
