 Connect to Synology DS211J
Hi guys,
I am unable to connect to my NAS, or even find it.
I have tried to manually add it, but no luck.
I have activated all the share functions I could find on the NAS, and I can access it on my Mac.
Anyone have some ideas ?

Your Veolo must be in the same user group as your NAS. Maybe you've tried that already, but no harm in pointing it out. I have the same NAS and had no problems with it.

In your Veolo: go to settings/network and find the settings for SAMBA.

 Re: Connect to Synology DS211J
Hello,
Make sure your Veolo and NAS are in the same network.
If you have your NAS shared with Samba network?
Then simply from Veolo go to > File manager > Network > and click on 'All Network'. If you have shared your folders on your NAS, and have a working IP address with your Veolo, you will get your NAS automatically from this view and you can enter this.
If your NAS is set to share with NFS, then you have this from -> File Manager > Network > NFS.
If this does not work, then please let us know in details what you have done and how you are connected with your devices / cables / settings etc.
Br,

 Re: Connect to Synology DS211J
BoStefan: It says Samba not running, and network group name is workgroup.
Mikael: I have a Linksys WRT54GL running Tomato firmware that connects to a Macbook, the NAS, a PS3 and the Veolo, all on cables. I can easily access the NAS on my Macbook and PS3, didnt really have to do anything. Settings all should be default across the board.
k7-3d: Thanks for the link, looks interesting, though it seems excessive just to able to access a NAS. But I will definitly look into it.

 Re: Connect to Synology DS211J
In the file manager I get the folllowing:
Storage - shows internal pluss my usb stick LAN - shows All network, nothing else. The NAS seems to "wake up" when I select this, but finds no servers. NFS - shows nothing

 Re: Connect to Synology DS211J
Have you added Veolo as user in your NAS and have you added what folders to share?
