Getting Codec error with 2 avi files
Getting message while playing AVI file: Codec error, use windows media player, followed by: aborting video redirecting to Microsoft Codec and the video try's to start over with same results.....
Is there a solution?

Those were error messages displayed by the PlayOn!HD? It should be in the same green color as all of the other messages.

You will need to download MediaInfo and install it on your computer - in truth no one who owns a hard drive media server such as the PlayOn!HD should be without it. Drop to file into the main window and compare the audio and video codecs listed with thos supported by the PlayOn!HD.

It is an error message on my playohd while playing it on tv via the Playon.
My computer Windows media player gives with these files directly from the playon same problem

What now? Do i need to get WMV3 op the PlayonHD? Do we need to wait for an update? Or can i better get rid of the 'wrong' error giving AVI files? Or only play those two and maybe other s int he future on computer and not on TV?
