As of today suddenly my HD mini doesn't see any of the two pc's in my network. Everything was OK yesterday, today I turned it on & no pc's. I upgraded to the latest firmware (r8755 beta) and I can even watch youtube, but there's nothing under network. I have all devices wired to the router and working, shares on pc's look OK, what could have gone wrong?

If you indeed had this working previously and have not changed anything in your network setup or PC that you try to access to. Then you just have a problem with your 'network discovery'. You can simply add a shortcut to your PC in this case.

To do this, first find out your local IP from your PC.
Then from the Playon!: Go to 'Files Manager:Network:My_shortcut' and there press the 'Menu' button and add shortcut.

This will be saved and you can use this if your workgroup/domain is not discovered. If your IP changes when you reboot your PC. You can either set a static IP to your PC or you can save IP's to your devices in most newer routers by entering your router setup and enable this there.

Thank you for the quick response. As I powered the streamer to try and apply your advise I found out that again it sees the other PC's as before. I have no idea how they came back and why they disappeared in the first place, but it's OK now.

Yes, this goes down into network discovery and in this case samba and your windows version. It can take up to 15 minutes before network devices are shown in Windows.

Making a shortcut will be 100% visible and you don't have to rely on the network discovery.
