i have a POHD mini, which basically works as advertised. I do have one problem since day 1: when i want to play an MKV (h264, 720p), i get green spots. Specifically, as the movie loads and i have a black screen, it is filled with green dots that seem to align perfectly in a vertical pattern. As the movie starts playing, the dots convert to splotches of green that seem to replace other screen colors, like pink, dark green, etc.

I have tried all the variables i can think of: different video setting (I have HD-ready TV), different hard drives (USB connected, network connected) different USB cables, different HDMI cables, direct connect to TV HDMI or HDMI hub, different FWs including latest 3875 & 4824.

Ironically, sometimes a new test will work - like playing same MKV from different USB connected hard drive, but then a next try next day will fail again. Overall i think it worked 3 or 4 times only. AVIs play fine.

Movies play fine from all drives when connected to PC/laptop. I suspect maybe a hardware problem with my POHDmini, as no-one else seems to have this particular problem.
