you guys really need 3 month to fix some youtube problem and ignore just any other more important bug this device has?
i'm really thinking about taken my mini2 and throw it in the trash right now.
i am definitely not going to buy anything from acryan again and i will definitely tell everyone i know to do the same.

It is really sad to see how you treat your customers. The product itself a decent one, but the support you provide is awful. If you want to continue the business, you should change on your behaviour, otherwise you loose a lot of customers. All of these unsatisfied customers (including myself) will share bad feelings with others.
I was hesitating a lot before bought a mini and a Playon!HD2, if I knew how bad the support is I'd have chosen an other brand.

Again - this update is simply released to fix the youtube issue. Also the problems with the NTFS handling are not general problems - this really happens very rarely and so far we haven't been able to reproduce this. We have however naturally forwarded this to our developers who will investigate this. As you may have noticed Realtek isn't really busy developing their SDK's recently which is actually needed to work on the firmware in a correct way. Once there is news and/or updates we will let you know.

In fact, you did acknowledge the existence of this specific problem and you have been able to reproduce it after my and other users reports, that are in the previous beta thread. It is a general problem, because it happens every time when you use samba and you write to connected HDD with NTFS filesystem.

So please, get your facts straight and don't give false information.

As your customer, I don't care that Realtek isn't making fast enough developments with its SDK - I've bought my product from you and you are responsible for it working as advertised. You should be responsible for applying pressure to Realtek, so it will finally fix reported problems. It's very childish to just pass the blame and do nothing more, while new versions of firmware introducing some serious bugs. It's also very careless, because it opens you to product returns. In my country, when something isn't working as advertised, you can return a product and get a refund for up to two years. And I know a bunch of sellers, that at some point decided to drop specific brand entirely, because they had too much returns and it was a pain to process them.

As mentioned we have forwarded this to our developers - until we have an answer about this there is not much we can do and there is no need to discuss this any further here. Thanks for understanding we will try to update you as soon as we have any news.

Hi there, since early prereleases of the whole unite (the time, when you actually was able to buy the mini HD2, but there was no manual and even specific support...) I tried open quite a lot topics with bug reports and improvement suggestions... Well, most of them are still not covered or answered by your support, so my question is, where can I send the list of issues and improvements, which I think should be fixed or added within some of the next firmwares, which btw seams like it will never come...

thanks for this valuable product. It almost matches my needs perfectly.

For me there´s only one missing feature at this time. I´d like to use seeking mode while listening to my music. The only digital media renderer i found wich is capable of this, is my Sony Bravia KDL-EX705 TV.

Is seeking mode with audio files not supported by the Mini2 hardware/firmware? Or does it depend on something else?

Are you referring to the seeking option whilst using DLNA ? If so how do you do this - with the app we tried this won't work via dlna.

Seeking within audio files works for me with Android BubbleUPnP as controller on my smartphone, a w-lan router as server and my Sony KDL EX705 TV as media renderer.

I'm using previous beta version (7716) since months and I still have some issues I'd like to see solved soon:

- I use NFS connection and, while the Mini2 can access my Drobo FS without any issue, I'm not able to copy or move files because the drive doesn't appear in its network list.

- when I delete a big file, generally a movie, it does but it shows a timeout message, like "couldn't delete the file". It does but generally give problems with folders. For example: I delete a folder with a video file and some thumbnail images in it (my EyeTV creates this structure). After a few seconds it says "couldn't delete the file", it did, just didn't deleted the images and folder because of timeout. This should be corrected.

- A lot of error messages, like the one above, is still in english, even if the language I set is Italian.

- Months/years ago you promised an option to not show the red led while in standby. Beside the environment problem it's also ugly to see. Are you going to finally give us this option?
