Actually I'm not sure to really understand how it works
Maybe I have to adjust settings again in Thumbgen (v.1.2.7). Can anyone tell me about the correct settings ?

I had to change the setting "Main Movie Sheet" to the value "$M\0001".
My thumbnail setting has the value "$M\folder".

Before the last update, I had these values reversed, but these are the values that now work with this firmware, for me at least. (Thumgen version 1.2.6 btw).

And doesn't the slow-button do nothing, or just the wrong picture/file? If so, can you state which one?

Am i correct that the mini 2 still has no web control on port 1024?

Ofcourse i could control using DLNR, but that would always require me to use an external library. Doing this from android (as UPnP controller) using windows (media player) as UPnP library results in a lot of waiting and silence. I should probably make media player push its stream to and simply use android as a media player remote to reduce the complexity of the stream.

Anyway, a web control would be much appreciated.

You are correct. The Web Remote is not implemented in the Mini2 yet. We have raised this as feature request to our developers.



No, it will show folder.jpg as thumbnail picture in files manager. 0001.jpg will be used than for the movie sheet.

I couldn't launch the movie sheet from the folder using the slow-button but the jpg file inside the folder worked fine.

It seems it works now changing the value as you said, and I renamed each file of movie sheet as "0001" in each folder.

No it uses 0001.jpg as moviesheet, and the first listed jpg in the folder as thumbnail (no matter what the file name of that jpg is). Try to rename folder.jpg to e.g 000001.jpg, then 000001.jpg will be showed in thumbnail mode view because it is listed before 0001.jpg.
This is how it works in r5440 release.
The issue here is that folder.jpg should be used in thumbnail view instead of whatever first pic in a folder. Kraakie has confirmed this and has reported it to ACR-

If you have the files listed as in the above, then 0001.jpg will be showed both as moviesheet and thumbnail.
The problem is as I have written in the post before this, thumnail view will pick the first jpg in a folder instead of searching for the folder.jpg.
The workaround is to rename folder.jpg to something which will get in front of 0001.jpg. I use 000001.jpg and it works fine.
