 PC cant see playon player 2gb hdd

Post PC cant see playon player 2gb hdd
i installed a new hdd and formatted it in the media player, now i connect the usb cable to my pc but the pc doesnt see it? do i need to do anything else from just switching on the playin player? do i need to have it connected to the tv and go into some settings for my pc to see it? also the hdd is so hard to get out everytime i need to wedge it out with 2 screw drivers not cool as it scratches them up

Is the hard disk being recognised when the player boots up?

Try reformatting again using the player and connect via usb making sure that you use ONLY the USB cable and the power supply plugged into the player and when first plugged into the PC that it is not powered up.

i have the same problem

on my one computer windows accepts my hd 2

i have just tried it on another computer and the windows message is that it does not recognise the device

i cant remember how i did it on the first computer it is too long ago and i am a technical dummie

o yeah and i want it to work on both computers(one computer is at my house and the other at my office)

If on one PC you confirmed that the player can be detected then definitely there is no issue with the player. On the other PC that the player is having problem with, I suggest you can try update the USB drivers, try to use another port and USB cable. Hope you can try it again.
