 Picture (Photo) Quality - Repetitive Patterns in some Photos Hi
I am viewing photos from my network (NAS - Synology) The photos come up excessively sharp with too much contrast. Some outdoor photos fields and forests build up repetitive patterns, which can be seen. This only happens where there are a lot of similar details in the photo (as a field or so). This doesn't show up in photos with big flat areas (like a city, road etc.)
I have tried to correct contrast via the playon menu, but I couldn't really get rid of the contrast problem it. The pattern problem remains in every setting.
Is there another setting I can correct or has someone else seen this issue:
By the way movie quality is superb! I never had to adjust something there.
My Playon!HD Mini2 is connected via HDMI to a Sharp Aquos 42

Re: Picture (Photo) Quality - Repetitive Patterns in some Ph What format and size do your photos have? The compression in .JPG photos may cause the artifacts.
Less than 1920 x 1080 pixel photos are blown up to fit the screen and this may also cause artifacts.
