I have PlayonHD2 with internal HDD. After copying my movie files to the internal hdd on the player, I have then used YAMJ to index them all. If i browse the media player from my computer, I can click on the 'index.htm' file and it opens my library in a web browser as it should do. But when i try and select the 'index.htm' file from PLAYONHD2 user menu through my tv, it either resets the unit if i select 'OK' to updating file, or lists 0/0 files if i select cancel.

Please advise why this isn't working???

There are a good few articles on this in the YAMJ forum. You don't say which version of YAMJ you are using, but, after downloading from the AC Ryan web site and installing YAMJ, you need to upgrade to V2.5.1 or a later snapshot release, as the reboot issue was fixed in V2.5.1. Many thanks Andy, seemed to work. it seems that getting the PlayonHD2 to boot directly into YAMJ isn't an option at the moment. just need to fix the issue of no movies being listed when filter is on 'ALL', but from reading around it seems that is down to naming conventions.

When sorted, i intend to use a PlayonMiniHD2 on another TV to stream. Will it be able to pull the information from my PlayonHD2 with HDD directly? or will my movie files have to be stored in a central dedicated storage location (NAS box or PC)?

YAMJ works fine when i built it on my NAS server, but now i have localised it to my internal HDD on the POHD2 there is no information on the index.htm file.

The 'JUKEBOX' directory looks like it has been built correctly (i.e it has pulled images etc from imdb), but after doing that the JAVA installer gives this error message for each file....

Any idea why it is falling down based on the above? I really hope that ACRyan improve the firmware to be more 'plug and play' as i can imagine most consumers would give up trying to get most of the features to work

The problem you have has been reported in other posts - try updating to the latest snapshot release of YAMJ and delete the lib and skins directories before installing the new version over the top of the old one.
