Post HD Mini2 and Samsung LED 3D TV Series UE55C8790
hi guys,

i just want to use my new HD Mini 2 with my Samsung LED UE55C8790 but
it is not possible at the moment. the tv receive no signal from the player
i think the handshake over HDMI is not working. i tried three different
HDMI cables and all of three HDMI Ports of the TV without any success.

i have another samsung LCD TV (a smaller one) in my office and with
that one i can use the ryan with HDMI without any problems. I tried
different Video options here: HDMI Auto, 1080p.... but without success
the HD Mini 2 wont work with my big Samsung 3D TV.

have anyone else this problems? why i cannot use the HD Mini 2 with my
Samsung 3D TV UE55C8790?

I dont know if this is a similar problem that I had with a Sony tv but this link helped me, I cut a Hdmi cable and removed the wire to the pin.

I have a samsung 3D plasma (PS55c7000) and the mini (V1) works perfect on that.
Mayby you could try turning off anynet+ on the tv?

thanks for the answers, the pin 13 solution is very isteresting but uncomfortable, too. i had so many media player and all work fine over hdmi without cutting a pin on my cable.

i still disabled anynet+ without effect.

It's possible the hdmi cec pin is giving problems

Some tv's who use hdmi-cec have problems with devices wich don't support hdmi-cec

So disabling that pin maybe solves your problem
