Today I got my brand new Playon! HD mini2. But there is one big issue: The Playon can't access my USB hard drive. It's a WD Mybook Studio II with 2TB. It has two partitions, both formatted in "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". The first partition contains all my data (including Videos) and the second partition is a TimeMachine backup-partition. This is what happened:
When I connected the drive to the Playon it started to read from it. After a few seconds a window popped up that says "File System check: Confirm/Cancel". I pressed confirm and the window popped up again after a few seconds. And that happened in an endless loop. Then I pressed cancel. I could access the drive from the "Files Manager". It showed the complete folder structure but didn't display any files. I have lots of videos in different formats on the drive but the Playon only showed the folders but the folders that contain files just were shown empty. I restarted the playon and the drive a few times but now it seems to have given up completely. Now it just ignores the drive when I connect it to the playon.
That's very annoying becaus all my other devices can deal with the drive perfectly (including the WDTV

). So it rally doesn't seem to be a problem with the drive. Any suggestions? And please don't tell me to change the file system or to re-format everything. I want to use a Mac file system because I own only Mac computers and all other devices are willing to communicate to the drive (again, it even works on the WDTV). Re-formatting would be a really big deal because I would have to look for other disks where I can store 1 TB of data temporarily before formatting the WD drive.
