 Push media files from NAS to HD Mini2 Hi guys, I am working with: A Synology NAS (DS212+)
ACRyan HD Mini2
Iphone What I want is to play music without having to turn on my television every time. I know logitech squeezebox offers functionality (with an Iphone app) to operate the squeezebox to push files from centrally stored files to the squeezebox. That's what I want for my acryan HD 2Mini too. Is this possible?

make sure upnp server is on mini2 and the Synology
In iMediacontrol select Synology as media server
You should see a list of media
Select the music you like to play
Select ACRyan mini as renderer
My setup Router_USB_media_server--> POHD2 as renderer --> Amplifier

I've tried to push music from my NAS to the mini, and even without changing settings in my router it works.
However, I am only able to stream one song at a time, where I would like the device to keep on streaming songs from the selected folder. I've tried playlists, but the imediacontrol doesn't show these.
Can anyone help me?

Re: Push media files from NAS to HD Mini2 Well, my findings are that imediacontrol is a bit shaky. Sometimes it plays a whole album, sometimes it does not. Sometimes it stops in the middle of a song and returns to the previous. Kind of weird.
If there is a more stable app, i wouldn't mind paying for it.
