Post Is there an "audio delay" or "lip sync" option ?
Is there an "audio delay" or "lip sync" option to avoid unsynchronized audio ?
If not will there be a firmware update for it ?
Thanks

Unfortunately there is not. You should set that on your amplifier.

There is no such option in the firmware and most likely there will be no such option. Sorry for that but i think you need to get / rip the movie with correct audio synch. Are you using a AV Receiver?

best regards,

Thank you. I wish to send video to DVI Monitor and Audio RCA to mi Analog Hifi.
I've read a lot about this kind of issue, even on Mini 2 forum (seehttp://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=173&t=14829&p=113895#p113895).

That's why I would prefer a device with a audio delay option.
Now if it's only an issue for modern TVs that want to take time to render the best possible picture, maybe it's ok with a simple monitor. The question would then be: are analog and digital outputs always synchronized ?

stronlgy depends on the setup and we cannot guarantee this due to so many different devices and manufacturers out there.
The best thing to do is try on your setup i guess. In any case you have 14days to bring the unit back without reason!

best regards,

Thanks, the answer to this could be quite simple in my opinion though, because PC monitors do display the picture without delay, otherwise it would be impossible to play games or watch videos on a PC. Even when using HDMI to DVI conversion since it's purely hardware.

So the only question, again, would be to know if all of this player's outputs give synchronized signals.

I couldn't bring the product back to a shop, since I can only buy on the internet ;)

Yes all outputs are synced. We tested for example different combinations with beamers, tv's and receivers. Different outputs connected via hdmi/spdif/analogue and on the mini2 / hd2 there are no synch issues.
Of course there might somewhere exist some exotic hardware which might interfere so as mentioned previously this cannot be 100% guaranteed by us.

cheers,
