Post More Subtitle woes
I am having trouble with mysubtitle files. I use .srt files. The names are exactly the same as the movies, no dots in title and in the same folder. Subtitles turned on in setup. I read in an old post that if you rename the file to put it up to the top of the file list it works, i tried this and it did indeed work. I have 500 movies in my collection and i am deaf so the subtitles are essential. I dont want to rename files everytime i want to play them. Any ideas? oh the old post i read said something about a 15 srt file limit, other posts said if the file was more than 15th on the list the subs dont work. iam running the latest version. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Are all your movies in 1 folder or does every movie has his own subfolder in movies ?

Best is every movie a subfolder

Like this
Code:
movies\
           Movie1\Movie1.avi
                  Movie1.srt
           Movie2\Movie2.avi
                  Movie2.srt

etc etc etc.

Why?.

If the files have different file names, i can't se what the problem would be?.
But the again, i have them all in one folder ( Series, season 1 one folder, season 2 another folder) and i have problems, sometimes it does show subs, sometimes it doesn't, and i can't figure out why?..
