After a few weeks trying to get my HD2 mini to work, I keep on getting stuck. Because I bought the mini to work with my NAS, I can't use the internal HD (it's not there), and have to use the network. The mini replaced the former mediaplayer which worked fine, so it's not about the wires.

To access my network, I seem to have to perform the following procedure:

-) Go to Internet Media
-) Start playing a Youtube item (in order to "activate" the network it seems)
-) Go back to home,
-) Access "files" (bestandsbeheer)
-) Then I am able to see Workgroup, or go to the "Snelkoppeling" I made.

If I don't do this, either the mini reboots itself when I use the option "Snelkoppeling", or I am just not able to see Workgroup. In either case, it is impossible to access the network. It drives me crazy, who can help me out!

What kind of Nas/router do you have?

NAS: Synology 207+
Router: Thomson

I can't imagine my NAS is the issue (I can't even access the Network), and the Router is not likely to cause this either. Especially because the network access is working after "activating" it on the HD mini by using an Internet Media option.

I really hope acryan can fix this... so weird it just happends suddently, when working great in the past.

The complete picture is fine, especially since it has at least 1 thing in common in all the threads: the AC Ryan HD mini2....

Try my trick too, it would be nice if you experience the same behavior...

Well, today it's not working for me either. No network access at all...
