Got this new firmware installed. Under setup - Set Show all files to on.
Open movies folder from File Manager-HDD (inside folder got movies cover, sub, mkv), some of files still cannot been seen? Like .mkv, Any idea why?

It seems that no sooner that a new firmware is release more problems come up.
I was on firmware r5540 then I installed the r7317 firmware now my problems started.
With the r5540 I could re-index my movies just fine however after installing the r7317 firmware I cannot index my movies properly.
1. After I added movies and indexing the movies I ran the Jukebox on the Playon however when I hit the OK to re-index it would start indexing with the crircle spining as usual then after a while it suddenly stopped spinning after a while would advance +-25% of the circle and after a short time would advance 25% of the circle and so on until the Playon reset.
2. When running the Jukebox on the playon and hitting the cancel button it would show the movies however I cannot Select a Title, Genre, Rating Year or Sets, they all just display ALL with a drop down selection being a blank.
3. Put in my backup disk with the same results.
3. Indexes that were created indexed prior to the r7317 firmware works fine however adding a new movie and re-indexing it produced the same problems as above.
4. I reverted back to firmware r5540 but now I have same problem as above. cannot get the index to work properly
5. The theater folder was also deleted but no difference
6. As a test indexed a small number of movies these indexed without resetting the unit however still cannot select a Title etc all still blank.
Can anyone help with this have been at it for 3 days but could not resolve it tried with my backup HDD still the same!!!!!.

hello, im new with the forums, but ive been using AC ryan since its first edition, now i am currently using playonHD2, i have a question, when i update to this firmware, i have my ac ryan connected to external hardisk i have, one thing weird is, when i play a movie through the ac ryan browsing from the USB (my external hardisk) the movie plays and when its ending and jumping to another movie, the remote stops responding and the ac ryan eventually hang. i wonder whether anyone has this experience?

I've installed yesterday PV73700_v9.5.3.r7317 (from my old firmware PV73700_v9.5.3.r2988) and I'm now facing two problems:

a) Bittorrent not working anymore. I cannot add BT files in [[ ]]

b) Sometimes the screen display in the main menu shows is messed up after resuming from the screen saver.

Hope you can advice on the problem with the BT download. Thanks.

Bt is not present annymore. You can juse transmission fore this.

Pleace remove the .theather map . Rescan your HDD.

Thanks, but already tried that. I'm going to try removing all the covers off and then recopy them back over again.

Hi Gregiboy. Yes thanks for the tip, tried all that Andy suggested but problem still persists. Am now totally lost lets hope AC Ryan can for once resolve these problems.

I mis the format .flv . more and more video,s wil be in .flv Is there maby a good reson why the acryan has not flv suported? I hoop that it will be suported soon. A lot of players can do this.

I whant to give the developers a big compliment fore the last firmware. It works nice.
