- To add, press the MENU button during selection of your intended file/folder when you are in Files
Manager and choose 'Add to Shortcuts' option
- To delete, enter Shortcuts menu from home menu and press the RED button to delete the selected

If this does not work, let me know details of how you updated, and also other details regarding the shortcut. From local storage, network, username/password, changed IP address, anything else?

If you provide information we might be able to help. What kind of subtitle? Can you paste the name of this subtitle, perhaps it's the naming, or the format, or something else? Let us know!

The.Detective.2007.720p.eng.srt

Error message : No subtitle.
Some movies can display subtitle with file format *.srt extension file.

Previous version 3966. All can display.
Pls advise how to fix.

This is unfortunately a new issue that we did not notice due to us naming our subtitles differently. We have reported this and will be fixed.

You are not able to have '.' in the subtitle name with this firmware.

To solve one of your examples ->

BBC.Invisible.World.I.2010.720p.mkv
BBC.Invisible.World.I.2010.720p.chs.srt <- Rename like this: BBCInvisibleWorldI2010720pchs.srt

Or the other workaround, downgrade to a older version if you don't want to rename your subtitles.

Upgraded to this latest firmware on weekend, everything appeared to be OK but today i copied a movie to the hard disk from my USB drive it copied OK but when i went to the main menu the PlayonHD2 rebooted, now when i turn the HD2 on, It continously reboots VERY ANNOYING! have gone back to the previous firmware v9.5.3.r4585 it's at least stable. Not very happy AC RYAN !

I've had this happening to me as well 1x time. Not sure why this happens at this point. If you get stuck in a continues loop, then you can connect your Playon! to your PC with the USB-slave cable (blue one) and manually remove the '.Theater' folder inside the Playon!'s hard drive.

We will naturally investigate this and try to find the source of this.

For some reason, my player is experiencing trouble with music info after upgrading to 5440. It recognizes all my .mp3 files, but trying to sort them by album, artist etc doesn't work anymore; it simply says 'Geen gegevens' (no data). During playback however, it is able to reproduce the required info.
Auto scan is currently turned off, I have manually scanned the internal hard disk over and over again now.

Just to be sure, I did not make any changes to my music collection before or after upgrading. I safe-flashed again this morning but the problem still occurs.

Color me baffled, but I updated to this firmware and now NONE of my movies will play in surround with it set to passthrough. In fact my receiver doesn't even show "stereo". I updated from v9.5.3.r3966 to this one. I'm going to try going one level back and see if that fixes it. This sucks.
