In our internal tests this bug seems to be fixed. We have to see if this is still the case when we release a new (beta) firmware to the public when thousands of people are trying the firmware. But so far it looks fixed the next fw. I don't have a date for release but i understand they doing there best to release it as soon as they can.

Hi all! I have a little problem. I bought a HD2 and it has 9.5.3r2886 firmware... I don't understand this because I can't find information about this release. Is it correct? Bye the way I have a problem... when the HD2 starts the HDD start lo boot... Before the menu appears the HDD stops for half second. It's very intereting I am afraid of my HDD will go wrong shortly... Is it normal work???

Maybe, but I have to overwrite it with the r2073, because 2886 causes problem to me. The HDD restart or restart or something before the menu appears. Some things were disappear. And unfortunatelly the HDD formating problem come out ("please format HDD"), and I can't remove this note But the annoying HDD problem has been solved with the 2073. So, if the ACR engineer read this forum... please care for the problem. The HD2 is very good stuff

 Re: [Official] Firmware Release PV73700 v9.5.3.r2073 PlayON!HD2
Does the AC Ryan Staff or Moderators know if the mp3 tag conflicts will be fixed in the lastest version. I'm finding no one responds to probably the most simple request of all the issues the HD2 has?
Will it be compatible with mp3tag software? i.e. when using mp3tag will it then allow the HD2 to see "year" and "Album Art" tags? it can't be a major conflict?
If not can AC Ryan Staff please tell me the best way to convert the 100GB of music i have put through mp3tag already? - which has taken me 2 months to do!! seeing as that was what i was told to use!
many thanks in advance
Graham

HI,
could someone please give all of us customers a view when the next firmware version will be released.
we are all struggling along with bugs clearly identified to you and we now have more than 2 months without a new version. it really is close to unacceptable.
PLEASE give us some idea when we can expect the next version.
going forward I feel there must be a diferfent approach as simple bugs can't wait this long to be fixed.
Dave
