Hi, These steps were helpfull pakkardkaw wrote: Follow the below steps 1 download torrent file from pc and save it in playon harddisk 2 go to file manager in playon. Then click play at the torrent file. It will be added to torrent list 3 go to bittorrent menu and make configuration as you want 4 the downloadded file will be kept at hdd/bt/torrent name If your HD2 reboots after point 2 (I had that), the HD2 has a problem with the torrent (ACR is analyzing that problem). Re: How to BT download
Hi,
point number 2 is resolved in the new firmware update. Also check for the manual to download on our homepage. There is a section for the BT download and how to use it.
cheers,

 Re: How to BT download
Re,
sadly i cannot reproduce this here. We tried dozens of torrents which are added over USB / HDD via the file manager. If you want you can send me one of those to my email and i will try it here.
Alternatively you can try the following: 1. check if network is setup correctly and bt is enabled 2. reflash firmware in safe mode (try other USB stick maybe) 3. connect the player via usb to the PC and check the HDD for failures / corrupted files 4. try adding the torrent not from the hdd but from an usb stick 5. format the HDD inside the player if thats possible for you 6. try renaming the torent file maybe if it has some weird chars in it
cheers,

 Re: How to BT download
Hello there,
Can someone tell me in plain english how to modify the settings.json file??? (I am a newbie with Linux)
I am using transmission 2.22 for my torrent files on my POHD2 and it works perfect through the web interface. However I would like to have more options so I installed Transmission remote GUI. The problem is that when I try to connect with that program to the transmission deamon the connection is refused.
In the meanwhile I understood that I should modify this line the settings.json file: Regel = "rpc-whitelist": "127.0.0.1,192.168.1.*", (so I have to add my IP range)
But how do I do that, where can I find that file and with which software can I edit the file? (Also there was something about stopping the service to get acces??)
Please help Thx!!
