GUI 2.0 Shows recent transferred files
Hello everyone,
The GUI 2.0 interface displays recent file transfers on the main page, is there a way to turn this off?
Thx in advance!

Thx in advance! First goto Setup -> System -> Autoscan Storage and set this option to 'off'. Afterwards use 'clear history' option in the very same menu. Afterwards The player will not scan your files anymore and clear your history as well. You need to be aware that this also renders the movies/music/photos option from the main menu useless/empty. I suggest you make use of the recently implemented shortcut function though as this is faster and more convenient. Hope this helps. best regards,

Re: GUI 2.0 Shows recent transferred files
Hi, I like the Movies, Music and Photos sections, but see no need for the "Recently transferred files" as it does not contribute in any way, and sometimes even shows an incorrect list if a large number of files have been transferred. Is there a way to get rid of this part of the UI? I found out that "select" on the RC lets them dissapear, if only temporarely. Thanks and regards, Hans

Thanks and regards, Hans Hi, i am afraid that's not possible with the firmware settings. You can have a look though in the 'other developments' section on our forum. Maybe there you can find help with this: http://acryan.com/forums/viewforum.php? ... 654531db7cbest regards,

Strange, in a/the previous version that was possible by adapting settings. Hans

Since the SDK has switched several times in between firmware releases this option has been removed/altered. You now can use the 'clear history' option to erase the database completely and than obviously the last added movies/music will not show as well. Downside there is that also movies, music and photos from the main menu don't work as well. Since we have added the shortcut function though this kinda compensates. In the end it all depends on how you want to use the player. Personally i would recommend to use shortcuts which you also can set for local storage as well as network samba shares. br,
