I have different MKV files copied on my HD2. But all my files the sound channels are switched. Most are AC3 5.1. But sometimes the front are at the back, or at the sides.
I use SPDIF, with passthrough setting.
My other hardware is perfect, only the HD2 is meesinp up the channels it seems.

Someone having this problem? (My receiver does not have HDMI)

you do not own a Onkyo TX-SR508?

because in some models there is/was this issue.
and if so you are free to contact onkyo if you want this fixed.

if you have a different amplifier, (okay i did not read well,
you have an other amp because the one i mentioned has hdmi)

is it possible it is due to the file itself?
does the problem also occur in a m2ts file?

and which firmware are you using on your PV73700?

I use Firmware Release PV73700 v9.5.3.r2073. My receiver is a Marantz. Will check today if other formats have the same issue. I used Freemake Video Converter to rip my own original discs to MKV files.
I will check my HD homemovies with 5.1 sound today.

thanks i will also check here if i find the same,
on my mkv files with AC3 5.1,
i must have a speakercheck file in mkv and DD5.1 somewhere.

as it also could be the program that messes things up.
