 Re: YAMJ HD2

How to check whether mapping was done correctly on the index.htm file?
Please check if index.htm file is in the root of your Movie directory. then check if there is a Jukebox directory in the root of the Movie directory. If so, it ought to be working. It works fine for me... The working of YAMJ can be checked by starting the index.htm file from your PC, it should show you a PC version of YAMJ with all your movies. Yes, both index.htm file and jukebox are in the root of my movie directory. On YAMJ main screen, nothing is shown under "ALL" mode but if I select by alphabet, the cover art will be shown. How do I get it to show under "ALL" menu?

 Re: YAMJ HD2
Hi Gilbert,
It is strange...
Maybe you can check the moviebox logfile on your PC (in the root of A.C. Ryan MovieJuke, moviejukebox.log) for strange entries. It looks as if there is a problem with the indexes.
Or, throw away the Jukebox directory and index.htm from the Movie directory on your HD2 and do a complete new build of the Jukebox.
I had a problem with some series which I removed from the Movie directory. After a rescan with YAMJ they kept popping up in the Jukebox (not in the PC version of YAMJ though). I just removed te Jukebox directory and index.htm from the HD2 and did a complete new build. After that the series were gone from the Jukebox.
Good luck

Sorry, could you clarify what you mean by "strange entries"?
"I had a problem with some series which I removed from the Movie directory."
What problems did you encounter?

Hi Gilbert, Quote: Sorry, could you clarify what you mean by "strange entries"?
By strange entries I meant for instance "Not found..." or "Error writing..." In the past I had problems with some corrupted files that didn't show up in the Jukebox, so did some inspections on the log file. Quote: "I had a problem with some series which I removed from the Movie directory."
What problems did you encounter?
I had several seasons of Two and a Half Men in the directory Movie and had them scanned by YAMJ. Then I decided to give all the series a directory of them own and moved the Two and a Half Men directory to the directory Series. I did a rerun of YAMJ and I expected that the Jukebox was accordingly cleaned up. However after starting the Jukebox on my HD2 I saw that de Two and a Half Men entries were still in the Jukebox. So I deleted the Jukebox directory and the index.htm file and started YAMJ again and afterwards the Jukebox did show me the right movies. Regards, Koos

 Re: YAMJ HD2
I resolved my issue, POHD2 keep rebooting after open index.htm, by removing non-latin charactors and change filename of .iso .avi etc (file in video_ts can be the same name) to avoid duplicated predictable movie title.

bsknol wrote: Had more or less the same. Although my pohd2 did not reboot, after selecting "yes" it did not show anything. After choosing one of the filters like, show all films starting wit an "A", it would show me these specific films. An investigation learned me that two of my films (blueray iso which played fine on my old mediaplayer) could not be played by the pohd2. After unpacking these specific iso's and placing the main mt2s files in a folder named after the film (also placed a nfo file with film information for yamj to use) the pohd2 could play the film and yamj was able to get the information in place. After this I got all films in one overview by using the index file in the pohd2.
Maybe you should search for a crappy bd-iso file... There are problems with bd-iso at the moment

 Re: YAMJ HD2
I found the cause. I shared the video folders but i didnt make a virtual drive of them (drive: z, x, y etc) so the playon hd couldn't open the files by him self
