The good thing about this new firmware for the VEOLO is that you don't need to manually download future firmware due to the addition of automatic update, this should make it easier in the future.

Hi guys,

I installed the firmware last night and did some testing, here are my findings so far:

1. I noticed that the Image was stretched to much (both vertical as horizontal) after firmware upgrade, so I had to adjust this manually in the image settings.

2. The officical market is good thing, it asked me for my Google credentials and it works, BUT all Google apps that are linked to a gmail account no longer work (Youtube, Google Music) -> Program has closed unexpect....I've also tried Gmail, but the says I have to adjust a setting for Sync, but this setting is not available on the Veolo.

I will do some further testing over the next few days, and will post my findings...

Have you tried erasing the youtube app for example including it's data and than reinstall it?

In case this issue persists for you, you could try to reset veolo to factory defaults in r849 and than reinstall youtube for example directly from android market. This obviously will erase your settings.

Tnx for the tip, uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick.

I even managed to run Google Music linked to a gmail account, works all the way, except when actually want to play something, see You Tube vid (so sorry for the bad quality vid)

Thanks for sharing the video Actually i downloaded a few of this application but managed to play only one, only one is working. I suggest for you to try to look for the same app and test again. Sorry for any inconvenience.
