Just visited my friend who has an Apple home.
He took his iPad and remotely selected music from his musicstore and the AppleTV played it. No TV had to be turned on and no annoying rc had to be used.

I have the HD2 and an Android phone.
Can this be done?

And no, I do not want to trade my couple months old HD2 for a VEOLO!

Hi,

first make sure you have the latest firmware. The Playon!HD2 can act as a DLNA Renderer which means that you can push music, movies and photos from your phone to the Player. On the Android phone you can try different apps - one I use for example is iMediashare which also comes for iphone.

When AC Ryan will upgrade it Ryan Remote on Ipad? I'm just download it from App Store and it look some functions not in the remote like 'select' 'confirm', 'edit' etc.. it will be great if you can provide update version to include more function on the Ryan remote, that really will made the product very joyful..
