Anyone with this issue? I have tried reflashing the firmware from the first release to the latest and it is not helping. Whenever i'm playing a movie halfway, the screen will suddenly blackout but the movie sound is still heard. Anyone will be able to advice on this? Thanks.

to find the problem you will need to start troubleshooting a little bit:

1. are you playing from internal hdd? Try playing from a usb device and check if issue persists
2. are you connected via HDMI? Try changing cable and/or output i.e try using the component cable and check again
3. Have you set your Video Resolution in the SETUP menu to HDMI Auto? Try changing this setting to supported modes i.e. 1080p 50Hz / 60Hz - often this can be a cause for distortions or problems with the video/audio playback
4. does it happen on all files or just on some?
5. does it happen for all file formats or just for a specific one such as .mkv
6. are you streaming even wireless? Than try copying the movie to the internal HDD and/or usb stick

hope you can limit the problem a bit. If you cannot figure this out by troubleshooting you will need to send the player in since it could also be a hardware fault.
