Post Screen blanks out when playing AVI's (sound still plays)
Hi,

I just purchased a POHD Essential today and I am having issues while watching some AVI files.

I have searched this forum, but didn't really find a similar situation to mine.

When I play the video it plays up to a point, sometimes for 30 minutes or so, then the screen will turn completely grey but the sound will carry on. The remote also becomes very unresponsive and after pressing some buttons on the remote the device eventually reboots (after about 20 seconds).

I watched a mkv file earlier today with no problem. I am running it through the HDMI output.

I am already using the latest firmware - should I try and reload the firmware? Any help to remedy this problem would be appreciated.

Is all of your AVI file having the same problem? Hope you can still reload/reflash the firmware and try again. If after re-installing the firmware the problem still resurface, I suggest you contact your dealer for them to check or visit our service center.
