 TS a MPEG playback problem
I am disappointed with their new players Essential. I needed to play TS files from the satellite receiver TechniSat. Playback does not work. I converted to MPEG, playback does not work. Respectively, yes, but the video is constantly sputtering, 4s ok, 1s stay, just video stay, not sound. Here's the details of converted MPEG from TS file:
Formát : MPEG-PS Velikost souboru : 609 MiB Duration/String : 27mn 7s Celkový BitRate : 3 142 Kbps

Next problem is Mov from camera ....
Hm, i buy PlayOn because want play TS files from Technisat Satellite receiver and MOV from camera Olympus, without stupid conversion ..... hahahahaha
I MUST MADE CONVERSION. GO FIGURE!!!
Im really Angry.
Now what? As long as I chose when I took over?
I hope you will help me, I have a lot of recordings in this format and it is your player can. But not. If this does not work, I have no reason to have the unit and return it back to you.

Re: TS a MPEG playback problem
Sorry for any inconvenience. But we definitely need to exactly know what is the video codec inside those video containers. The format might be supported but the codec probably may not, that is why it cannot play and the same goes for your camera video. Can you use the software "mediainfo" to show the real media details. You can download the software from the link below and after installing run the application and select "tree" as your viewing preference. You can drag and drop the media file there and copy the shown information and send it to us or post it here. http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/Download

Re: TS a MPEG playback problem
I think all the info needed was in the post. Jiri, have you tried to rename the TS file to MPG? Sometimes that does the trick. What software did you use for the conversion? For MPEG-TS files I have used ProjectX lots of times. The resulting PS files (MPG) played fine. Conversion is fast, like remuxing. Your converted file is a bit peculiar because it has higher resolution (720x576 vs. 640x576) and bitrate (2888 vs. 2050). Your source really is 640x576? Usually it is 720x576 or 704x576 for PAL, but I've seen some eastern european channels transmitting in lower resolutions.
