Post YAMJ Juke Box is not working - Unable to service request
After installing latest FW r4824, I downloaded the YAMJ for A.C Ryan to my laptop and followed all instructions, building the index of all my movies on the internal 1.5T HDD.
When I go to the JukeBox on the PlayonHD I click the correct location of the index.
When the first time the "Please update..." message came up I clicked "Yes" - The PlayonHd just rebooted :?
Then I went back to the same place and clicked "No".
The Menu opened but any where I clicked same message coming up "Unable to service request"
I can see the index with all the pictures in the Browser, but the JukeBox is not working.

What do I do wrong??? Help

I kept getting that message too until I realized that I was trying to use a moviesheet which is causing that trouble. Either use the standard template or get Aeon (even though it won't look like it but it works). ENsure folder and file names are not too long (delete unnecessary characters e.g. BDrip, dvix, etc.), check if in library.xml the path is relativ to the movie folders e.g. file://../movies, I had to change my folder structure and dumped all movies, each in separate folder, into one folder. This when you intend to have one jukebox.

I find it quite a pain to have 3-4 clicks to get the jukebox started. One last thing I will try is to edit the start script

hope you'll get it run if not already in the meantime

Tnx. cem_sg.
I also have the "Unable to service request" problem.
I hope that shortening the filenames will solve the problem.
Can you ,or anyone else, tell me if a file that has a filename that is too long can cause another file with a filename that's not too long to come up with the "Unable to service request" message?

erm..in case I understand you correctly, no. Usually that message pops up on folders, means when you call Genres-> ALL, Movies or Titles etc., After I compiled the jukebox for rough 220 movies I can't select ALL and and titles starting with K and L
So I tried to check what's the prob (ongoing process) but I noticed I had files with empty spaces which seems to cause problems for the file itself (not though for the folder name (e.g. folder: Spiderman 720p; file better to be Spiderman.720p). It is quite a pain then to change manually the required html and xml files but I was able to select titles starting with K.

So in addition to the above I wrote:

- keep folder and file names simple and short
- use for file names "." instead of spaces, elimante any weird stuff like "-"
