Logitech Harmony is the answer you are looking for. I've only used one remote for ALL my devices for years....

Logitech Harmony is the answer you are looking for. I've only used one remote for ALL my devices for years.... High cost and not as userfriendly as the simple looking remote controller that comes with the POHD Essential.

High cost and not as userfriendly as the simple looking remote controller that comes with the POHD Essential. User friendly enough for my 3yr old daughter to switch on the POHD, Plasma, AV Receiver then connect POHD to shared media on NAS and start watching TV shows with 2 button presses but yes i agree on the cost. But you get what you pay for....

Re: Sneak preview of POHD Essential (actual product footages!)
@Koets: Pricewatch gives me prices ranging from 66.99 to 89-euros. What particular store, that anyone in Belgium can visit, has it for 35-euros ? And one talks about something being expensive, it could mean, in comparison to what the general public sees as a default remote controller. Which sells at 15~35 euros. (And also allows me to control my DVD-recorder, TV, AV amplifier, ...) So, ... I think the Harmony 525 is a basic/budget universal remote controller from Logitech, which is also hard to get for at 35 euros I still stand ground, and stick to the idea of the GUI from the AC Ryan device(s) not being the most userfriendly and secondly, that there would be buyers for a separate (simplefied) AC Ryan POHD remote controller like the one delivered with the Essential.

Well, contact them and see if you can order it as part... I don't see why they wouldn't want to make an extra buck.. Newer, same function, simpler, but bonly up to 4 devices: http://www.bol.com/nl/p/elektronica/log ... escriptionExpired, but where i bought it: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/logitec ... rol/318402or used: http://kopen.marktplaats.nl/search.php? ...
