Please do check your broadcasting network if they are supporting teletext. Some channels might and some may not.

Sorry for any inconvenience. It does not occur on our set, if the issue is still occurring without any HDD connected in the unit, installing firmware then there is a high chance the you have a corrupted system in the player also can caused a faulty hardware like power supply . I do suggest to contact your vendor for them to check and for you to know on how to get a replacement.

Sorry, as for this case we have different results. Some users say it can and some still say its the same. On our side it did work, hope you can try and verify again. Thanks.

Hi, previously i have this problem before and that happened without me knowing. As i never change anything on my PC. But strange to say that few OS updates did some changes.

Please try to double check your PC setting
1. Navigate to the Network and Sharing Center via the Control Panel
2. Click on the down arrow icons and select ON/OFF as follows:
Network Discovery - ON
File Sharing - ON
Public Folder Sharing - OFF
Printer Sharing - ON
Password Protected Sharing - OFF
Media Sharing - OFF
3. Turn ON/enable Net BIOS

My equipment:
ACR-PV76120

The HDMI Display devices I am using:
1. Samsung HD Monitor PCX 2370
2. Panasonic Viera 50" Plasma
3. Mitsubishi HD DLP Projector

Video Content Played to test 16:9 stretching:
1. Mpg files (recorded in PoHD DVR from AV input)
2. AV input from Dish Set Top Box

Firmware Tried in DVR, Video setting @16:9:
1. r.4585
2. r.3966
3. r.4824

The Results of Screen display in 16:9 Stretch, using different Firmware:
1. r.4585 Partial Stretch with gap on both sides (almost like 4:3)
2. r.3966 Partial Stretch with gap on both sides.(almost like 4:3)
3. r.4824 Correct 16:9 Screen Full

Conclusion:
1. When all other set up remains same, the stretch works fine, only with r4824 but not with releases r.3966 and r.4585.
2. The results may vary with others, only because some TVs may compensate with its built-in auto stretch feature and always show correct picture.
3. Approach this problem thinking that "the customer is always right", you will surely notice this snag and come out with a solution.

I have a Samsung B650 connected to the DVR and running on r3966 firmware.
The videos are never streched the right way independend from the coding standard of the video.
I tried ts-streams, xvid-avis, divx-avis and mpeg. alls of them are from 4:3 sources
The zoom button shows following results:
the "fit" option sometimes causes the picture to get a little bit smaller (just 20-30 pixels on a fullHD)
the stretch option always does nothing
the zoom options are working but normally the resolution is dvb-t like (720x576) and the zoom option "2x" causes the picture to be 1440x1152 which leads to some missing pixels on teh left and right side.

What makes it so difficult to implement the "strech" and "fit" option correctly?
My expectation:
the "fit" option causes the picture to fill the screen without touching the pixel aspect ratio.
The upper and lower picture areas will be cut off.
I think this is normally called "letterbox"

The "stretch" option causes the pixel aspect ratio to be modified. The 4:3 source will be "compressed" to fit the 16:9 display.
I think this is called "pan&scan".

1 - I wanted to ask whether this revision of firmware is normal from the EPG Timer recording does not start?

2 - When I turned off standeth still lights display can be turned off only after removing the power cable

3 -Little did I understand that the old firmware was able to record DVB-T and at the same time I could watch movies in HD with this firmware version is not
I thought that this device should this work?
