When will we be getting the new update for 76120 with the new gui as has been received by other playon products?

One thing that is missing from recording capability is what happens when we want to close the device when a scheduling recording is executed. Now if the recording starts when the device is on, we are not able to close the device and it has to stay on "for ever".

It is needed the capability to OFF the device but when there is a recording just to signal that when the recording finish then the device has to go at standby.

wasnt the plan to release new firmware for our unit and then port it to the HD? oh well, no use in complaining, it wont make the firmware come out quicker.

if i didnt need the recording function i would have turfed my unit ages ago...

You must log on to DVR with telnet. Then explore directory /usr/local/etc/package/.info/torrents/. Every subdirectory contains one torrent. You must remove the last added torrent and restart BT.

This short description is ONLY for advanced Linux users!

Cud someone pls help explaining to me what about instruction means, I dont understand but I need to make BT in my Playon to work and able to download......

Since I installed this version my DVR-HD is freezing and restarting very often when I'm watching videoclips stored on internal harddrive.
Two times in hour is common freezing frequency :-(

Previous version was fine with same videos.

Try a safe flash with the same firmware

Standard method
1: Turn off Ryan, red LED lights.
2: USB stick or an SD card [FAT 32 formatted] with the firmware .

The file name is always - install.img -

Setup> System> System update. [remote]

The firmware will now be flashed.

Safe Mode Flash
1. Pull the plug
2: On / off button pressed.
3: Voltage at the Ryan set.
4: On / Off button only release when the blue LED starts blinking or loading on the TV is visible.
5: Waiting for the Ryan finished flashing.
6: reconfigure your settings (video/network etc).
7: Turn off Ryan> wait> turn back on the Ryan.
