Hello,

Thanks for your feedback and I can confirm this as a new issue.
On the Playon!HD2 the YouTubeXL work as a substitute for now.

I will report this directly to our engineers who unfortunately at this moment left for the weekend, so I can't get any decent feedback regarding this for now.

Will keep this thread updated when I get some news.

I've only recently upgraded my 3100 series to r7317 and can confirm that many of the videos are coming up with this message.

Probably related:
When i've logged in to YouTube and enter the 'Worros' menu selecting Recommended or Favourites gives the message 'NETWORK_CONGESTION'

Hello,

The logging in problem 'network congestion error' is not related to the 'cannot play video file' problem which is still under investigation by our engineers.

Is there a post I can track for that one?

My AC Ryan Playon CD Mini also has the same irritating problem of "Cannot Play Media File" error in Youtube. In the older version, it used to be intermittent, sometimes you Return and Play the same file again, it will play. But with newest verion firmware, it is 100% sure it cannot play any media file direcdtly on youtube over Internet Access.. Could it be due to the blockage from Youtube server?

I'm started to loose interest in using AC Ryan now. Probably those made-in-china boxes would be cheaper and better box to buy now.

Where do you think the AC Ryan boxes come from? Several models from other manufacturers are strikingly similar, down to the remote control. Even the firmwares can sometimes be swapped between boxes. So yes, it's possible to get a cheaper box but I doubt it's going to be better.

I agree. Try getting support from China and have fun reading the manuals which are in Chinglish!!!

Br,

Mikael, we're now at May 12th. Any leads as to why we keep getting this error message? I keep getting it on my Playon HD, on the same files I was able to play a couple of weeks ago (using 7317)

I'm sorry, but we have not heard anything from our developers in terms of a solution for this problem.
