Post Problem with NEW GUI 2.0 and Logitech Harmony
Hi,

A new problem with the new GUI:

I have a Logitech Harmony remote and when I had old firmware installed on my DVR, everything went very fine...but now with the new firmware the problem is when I change channels, one "click" on the remote changes 2 channels in same time (ex. if I am on the channel 01 and I click one time on my remote, the channel go directly to the channel 03...) I tryied to do the max with the remote software but it doesn't change this problem.

It was a good idea to do DVR faster but in this case it's really to much ;)

If someone is in the same case...help me to fix this problem, if it's possible.

Thank you a lot again

Thanks for bringing this up and sorry for any inconvenience. As i do not have the same remote to test, we might need to have few more feedbacks based on this issue.

Hi Roger,

I have a logitech harmony remote and have the same problem. Changing the IR code repeat settings to their maximum on the remote have no effect.

Hi Roger

The issue still exists on 5440 with Harmony.

BTW, AC Ryan is not exists in the Logitech IR Codes DB. I had to use the Dvico 6440 codes.
Even when I programmed (Learned) the codes from the PVR's remote to Harmony, the problem still persists.

I had this same problem with my Philips Prontots7000 remote control.
When learning codes, set the time of the code response to 0.08

with Pronto you can change the amount of time that a pressed button 'remains pressed'. If harmony software can do the same, set the time to 0.08 seconds

Got the same problemm with my Logitech remote.. Seems like it is sending signal too quick for the unit so unit detects it as two clicks instead of one.. Quick remedy learned to press buttons very quickly (not to hold them pressed for too long)
