 Connection help
Sorry if this is so basic its probably embarrassing but hoping you can help a newbie here. Just got one of these units and I can't see at all how to connect it to the internet. Tried a wired connection from my network into it and tried using the DHCP auto function. It keeps saying DHCP not ready. Have you got to manually set the DNS server address? Tried that anyway and it still didn't work! Tried using a Wireless dongle in it using 'Infrastructure' settings with SSID.Didn't work! In the system menu it doesn't show any 'Extention info' setting. Is it anything to do with that? Tried the system update from usb, by the way and its at the newest firmware now. Still nothing. Help!...I bet its something really stupid

 Re: Connection help
I had a similar problem with exactly the same messages. I presumed that the network was not working because of the message. I contacted Mikael from AC Ryan and he was very helpful indeed and suggested turning on the NAS in the setup. I did that and the AC Ryan was seen immediately on the network. I also checked the Internet Radio and it all worked fine. Perhaps AC Ryan might like to have a look at the messages that you get when attempting to set up the network as it did seem to be confusing.

 Re: Connection help
You can find the NAS setting in the network set-up menu but it may be irrelevant to your problem if you suspect it is a wireless dongle issue. I am running on cat 5 at the moment as the wireless dongles are out of stock so I cannot be much help in that area at the moment. I did notice however that the latest software update seems to have fixed the false error message about failing to get an IP etc. The software version is V8-3-2 R3582.
