Hi..I've asked this question in the Discussions forum but, as i'm about to send the box back, i thought i'd quickly check something here.
To connect the box to your home network..all i need to do is plug in the cable connecting my box to my router and do the DHCP IP Auto setup..That should work, right ?

Yes that is correct ,

Please note some details :

1. the wifi adapter has to be a acryan one to be visible
2. follow the how to connect to a pc guide in these forums depending the Operatin system
3. Make sure you have the proper settings on your router too .
