Post Analog TV via Coax Cable on the ACR-PV72100TV ?
Hi,

In the manual of the ACR-PV72100TV I cannot find something about the "Analog TV via Coax Cable connection". also automatic channel find or something is not mentioned.
For me, when i read the specs, it looks like the ACR-PV72100TV has an build in analog tv tuner but when i read the manual, i see no connection for it.

see specs: http://www.acryan.com/index.php?option= ... &Itemid=98

built-in TV Receiver (analog + digital)
* Analog TV via Coax Cable

is this correct ?

Hello,

Yes it is correct. The ACR-PV72100TV do come with a built in tuner so that you can received TV signals (free to air channels). At the back of the device you can find TV IN where you can insert you cable antenna from your wall socket. For channel scanning, you can go to the DVR setup. With just a press of a button it will scan all available channels for you.

Hi Roger,

thanks for your reply !
my last question before i buy:
You mentioned 'free to air channels'. i understand that these channels are the DVB-T channels, received for example with the antenna.
But can I also connect the ANALOG TV signal via coax cable to this connection so that the build-in analog tuner can find all the channels ?
Is this analog tuner a dual-tuner, so that i can record and watch(on a different channel) at the same time ?

many thanks,
Erwin.

Hello erwin,

The PlayON! DVR TV's built in tuner can received Analog and Digital signals. After scanning for both, you just have to go to DVB-T of the main menu to watch digital program and Analog TV to watch analog program.

For recording and watching different channel at the same time, sorry it cannot work. The PlayON! DVR only have a single tuner. But for options, you can split your wall cable antenna one to your TV and one to the DVR. In this way you can watch from your TV set while recording another channel to the DVR. :)

Hi,

I just bought the ACR-PV72100TV and it came with that splitter but I cannot for the life of me figure out where to put it so as to split the signal. The splitter has two female to one male connection. In trying to set it up it occurs to me that it should be the other way around? Any chance of a detailed diagram pic to illustrate (and not the one in the instructions- it explains nothing)?
