Im a noob at this so bare with me
So i followed the guide here viewtopic.php?f=107&t=9665
Everything worked and the movie sheets were created however when i go on my play on mini and browse to my movies folder (GUI 2 latest stable firmware) and select the thumbnails view - where i expect to see the movie poster im seeing the movie sheet instead?
The only way i see the poster is to go into the actual folder where it is then displayed.
I want to see all my film posters on the same screen not all the movie sheets?
I hope this makes sense.
Any help much appreciated.

The thumbnail view looks for the first jpg file in the folder

And since 001.jpg is the first on alphabetic order that will be shown first.

So how do I go about having the movie poster in the browser?

Good question mabye name the thumbnail 01.jpg ?

This worked but now when you press slow the poster comes up rather than the moviesheet!

Using the mini 2?. Cuz i got the same problem, it's frustrating

No the original mini but probably running the same software.

and if you name the thumb _001.jpg ? or _thumb.jpg

Has frustrated me no end but I think I have the fix.
I have POHD2
V9.5.3r2073

When browsing thumbnails in file manager, the POHD2 displays the first jpg, no matter what. Trouble was when I pressed 'slow' it did the same thing, just reshowed the first jpg, just larger. BUT if I remaned the movie data sheet 'about.jpg' it showed that instead.. Perfect! Press play or enter and the movie starts. So my movie library looks like this (on HDD)

movie1 (folder)
0001.jpg (thumbnail for AC ryan)
about.jpg (movie data sheet)
folder.jpg (thumbnail for windows)
movie1.avi

Works for me, hope it does for you. I am only using the default skin but it looks great and thumbgen is so easy to use I have almost given up trying to get yamj to work.

or just rename the folder.jpg to cover.jpg works for me.
