How do you install new templates ? I downloaded a split screen one. I copied in the templates folder but I'm getting a error when trying to select it ?

What am I doing wrong?

hi, i also have similar problem, the thumbnail view won't show any pic.
i already rename the file like it is told to, movie cover = folder.jpg, and movie sheet = about.jpg...but it is still not showing any pic on thumbnail view mode. Any suggestion ?

I used to be using YAMJ and because of that, I've been using Ember Media Manager-Revisited (EMM-R) to download the relevant covers/fanarts for all my movies and tv-series. Till I realized that I couldn't get the skins that was utilized in YMAJ to be displayed on PlayOnHD, as its just not supported yet.

So, am switching to use other options, and ThumbGen came to my attention. I downloaded ThumbGen and ThumbGen designer from thumbgen.org. Now I think I know how things work, but it seems that to populate the cover and backdrop (which is the cover and fanart in YAMJ), it requires me to select the local images one by one (I prefer this way, as I've already setup all the images using EMM-R). All my images are named according to YAMJ naming convention, such as <movie>.jpg, <movie>.fanart.jpg to indicate cover and fanart images for a movie. (<movie> can be replaced with name of movies, such as Red).

As I've a lot of movies and tv-series with all the artwork and fanart already located in my local, is there a way for me to configure thumbgen to pick-up these jpgs just by using the naming conventions of YAMJ?

I tried the thumbgen on POHD2 latest firmware

I use the slow button to browse through the sheets - press on cover sheet - movie starts.

But when I stop the movie - POHD2 reboots? I am doing something wrong?

I have noticed this reboot error if Video setting is set to HDMI Auto.
I have, so far - (tonight), only seen it happen with photos, on the mini with latest BETA firmware.
I have not used thumbgen yet.

If I set my player's video setting to match the input of my TV, example 720p, or
1080p if using a Full HD TV, then this auto-reboot does not happen.

So try checking / doing that.

I have the new Playon!HD Mini2, updated with firmware v9.5.5.r3966. And Using Version 1.2.6 Thumbgen.

My question is. what am i surpposed to call the moviesheet in order to make em work?.
I've tried with folder.jpg, 0001.jpg. backbround.jpg. moviesheet.jpb.tg_sheet.jpg, and a couple of others without any luck.

What i get is, it shows the folder picture, when looking om all the movis folders, but when i enter a folder i doesn't show the movie sheet. if i press slow it shows the folder file ( the cover picture).

i'm all new to the Playon, but have played around whit Tvixie, Tvix and WD players. But i am unable to make it work with the Playon!HD Mini2.

Just some help if i may.

I have a V3100 running r3966 firmware.

I have just installed thumbgen and need a bit of help.

Currently its dumped two files into each of my file directorys a 0001.jpg and folder.jpg

first issue is that when i am going through my movies directory (ie scrolling through all the movie folders) it gives a thumbnail of 0001.jpg which is the movie sheet rather than a thumbnail of the folder.jpg. Is there a way of switching these round as apposed to renaming every single file ?

Also when i then choose a directory to enter i just see the 3 files the movie file, and the two jpgs listed above, i would like it that when i enter the directory it automatically loads the 0001.jpg (ie movie sheet) and then hit play to start the film, is that possible ?

I have a POHD about a year and since I looked sometimes in this topic and saw amazing screenshots of what we can do with your software and wow.... I wished I was that handy with computers! But......... Yesterdayevening, when my wife is calling me to bed for (....), I was a sort of out of my mind and I downloaded it a give it a try... I was flabbergasted, I had in 2 minutes my first template!!!! Only the size was not good. Tonight I have to find out tonight how to change, probably somewhere in the settings. No time yesterday to find out.
