Popular Dutch video review website HardwareWoensdag recently reviewed the Playon!HD Mini.

They find it a very interesting device for streaming media. Similar to the Playon!HD, it can be used as a NAS. All PC’s on the network "can access the device to share files, also via an external hard drive. The Playon!HD is recommended for those who prefer a storage option"

What’s nice about the design is that it is similar to the Playon!HD – "clean stylish and with a fast interface. AC Ryan has brought out a “super–tight” unit", according to the reviewer. They also say that it is impressive that "a unit so small can have such a great interface, support almost all formats and has the ability to control DTS volume with the remote control" Both reviewers have a Playon!HD Mini and they think it’s great!

The conclusion is very simple – the Playon!HD Mini is "the ultimate media player" – looks nice, works like a beast and if you want a device to stream media from a server or PC at a good price, the Mini is "hard to beat"
