How long does it take to format a HDD of 1tb in the PlayonHD

 How long does it take to format a HDD of 1tb in the PlayonHD I've a playon HD with the latest firmware (dd. 07-02-2012). I inserted a 1 tb HDD which had data from a previous playon HD on it but it requested a format. I did so 2 hours ago and the screen with the two buttons (Cancel and Format) and the line "Press Format to start" above them. Also there is a large "working" circle that stopped rotating and seems frozen. The HDD seems to be rotating but this is an abnormal long time for a format, or am I wrong?

Re: How long does it take to format a HDD of 1tb in the Play OK, managed to format the HDD, however, now every time I start up the Playon wants to format, and when I connect with the PC windows Vista also asks if I want to format the HDD. This has never before happened. The HDD operates well in a normal PC. EDIT: found this topic, http://www.acryan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=18919, that removes the issue with the formatted HDD. Now formatting with Windows, let's see what POHD will make of that.

Re: How long does it take to format a HDD of 1tb in the Play OK, after several tries I think it works. Hopefully the menu will speed up though, how in godsname do I stop that infernal scanning (switched it OFF already in the menu)?!

Re: How long does it take to format a HDD of 1tb in the Play Only firmware 7317 and the latest beta 8755 can the scan off option will work.
