We are still checking on this issue.
Will get back to you guys on this at our soonest.
J.
P.S. those who can revert back to r4312 or r3875, please do so while we check on this issue. If you can't revert, then I suggest to RMA with respective vendor.

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090
I have now run with the new firmware about 10 days. on both my mini´s....one is used 12 hours every day...
Some hickups when browsing my nas server and frezzzzz...had to pull the power a couple of times.. But all in alll very stable, and the new layout rocks....:0)
Nice work.... Unknown hardware....bummer...hope you get it fixed...i do not have this problem....happy hunting.
Remember a 2 year old usb stick is the same as using no rubber.....you get data corruption....

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090
my post #1, after all this time monitoring this forum ------ have installed this update no 'hardware failure' error. but i would like to report some issue encountered: - Some of my MKV show artifact / green screen / stutter at the beginning of the movie, then fine afterward - 1080p 24Hz, sometime notice motion jerk (yes my tv suport 24hz input) - to exit Menu (Menu button) now i have to hit Back(return), before a second press of menu button will exit the menu - last MP3 file playback will crash the unit (noted on bug) Overall is good, If possible, Pleae change the HIGHLIGHT SELECTION COLOR back to the original firmware, it not noticable, like the OldSDK style theme better. Thank You. PS: i notice the new SDK firmware only 1/2 size old firmware SDK, does this mean there's free space ?? so developer can modify? or its just being compressed and decompressed internally afterward (read:same size)

MP3 Playback startup noticeably longer than 4312 (old SDK),
Positive: - low res video , DVD playback, the Picture Quality seem better (boost in sharpness)

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090
After upgrading from r3582 to r4090 using System Upgrade, I also encountered the "Sorry! Unkown hardware, the firmware can't work" error initally. Somehow, the problem goes away after I removed the image file, install.img, from the root directory of the USB drive. My player model is ACR-PV73200+.
I also encountered some green screen when playing certain MKV files (through Browser), but only for several seconds during the start of the playback. However, this issue is not seen when the movie is played in the preview window or through Movie Jukebox. I have not verified with many MKV files but the issue seems to only affect those video encoded with high reference frames (> 4 frames). My MKV that displays the problem has ReFrames of 5. [Update] It turns out the green screen issue also exists when playing through Movie Jukebox.
Another annoyance is that the newly added on-screen Menu cannot be removed by pressing the [Menu] button. It can only be hidden by the pressing the [Return] button on the remote.
Sometimes, the drop-down menu (after selecting one of the Menu items) is displayed with scroll bar arrow buttons that are placed far apart although there is only one or two menu items.
When I played a BD-ISO with DTS-MA audio using HDMI bitstreaming, the audio is not always downgraded to DTS which is only supported by my Sony AV Receiver. I have to replay the ISO several times before the HD audio is downgraded to DTS. May be an issue with my AVR though.
And lastly, please do something to improve the contrast of the menu item highlight.
All and all, thank you for the firmware improvements. Keep it up!

after all the limitation, (no hardware error though) roll back to 4312, much..much..much more stable .. BTW: theoretically on papers, what's is the 'real' benefit of the new SDK anyway, compared to the old one?
