sixaplus wrote: Hello, I downloaded the latest version of YAMJ (V 2.0 64 bits of 08/16/2011) on your site and I recreated a new folder Jukebox in the partition that store my movies. When I try to run the jukebox on the Playon!HD Mini one (firmware 7317), I can go up to the screen that offers me to recreate the jukebox and a few seconds after I click on OK the mini freezes always and I have to cut the power to restart it. What should I do? Nevertheless YAMJ was working fine with the older version 5440 ... Hello everybody ! Nobody to answer me ? I'm the unique user of YAMJ in the Word

No clue on what happened when I first upgraded the fw.

@sixaplus: You are not the only YAMJ user in the world. If you were, you would be the only expert at the same time. Post your question again in the YAMJ section of the forum. There you will get attention from the experts. Here your question drowns in the mass. After you have done so, I will delete your question here, because cross posting is not allowed.

Indeed, I haven't had spontanious reboots in the last three days. So I don't expect them in the future neither. Oh, and be patient when you follow this procedure. The system flash to r3582 took almost five minutes or so. Oh, I almost forgot: going to r3582 took two flashes. First the system one and then a safe flash (it is mentioned in the readme file).

SUGGESTION FOR DEVELOPER OF FW: 1) In case I have "AUTO MEDIA SCAN = OFF". Than items in Main Menu "MOVIE" and etc has no value. Than I have to 4x scroll down to reach BROWSE. How about to hide these items? 2) The player sort music files for playback by names of the files or by name of song defined in Id3tag. It does not keep order defined in the playlist. BAD

Oh, and be patient when you follow this procedure. The system flash to r3582 took almost five minutes or so. Oh, I almost forgot: going to r3582 took two flashes. First the system one and then a safe flash (it is mentioned in the readme file). No luck for me.. Tried to go back to 7.0.21.r3875 (safe flash) tried both the USB ports and different USB-sticks (formatted normal FAT32) but installation (downgrade) process doesn't start. So did (again) a system flash to 7.3.6.r3582 and a safe flash like you suggested. Then a safe flash to 7.4.6.r7317. Added the shortcuts, played a movie from NAS. He, it works! Retried it again, REBOOT, AAAAHHHH!!! After some more retries, reboot after reboot.. So NO (slow) fancy GUI for me, but a (fast) working GUI (3582). Hope there will be a new firmware release soon, that accidentally will solve my problem. @Duivels Any news on that??? Thanks for your help, unfortunately for me without succes..

 Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73200_v7.4.x.r7317
If you see the interval between the firmware updates, you can make a small calculation. AC Ryan never publish release date for firmware, not even to moderators. 7317 was a surprise for me, when I came back from a short vacation.
If you are happy with 3582, you will probably be even happier with 4824. I liked 4824 better than 3582.

TerryNachtmerrie wrote: And again all Wifi tests fail. Terry, have you, by any chance, turned off DHCP, iow. are you using static IP' adresses? If so, this could be the problem. At least in my case it was. Had to turn on DHCP especially for the Mini's new firmware family . I remember it appeared as a connection failure but it was actually the Mini being unable to get a IP address.

You having the same problems? I am yes, I have another thread open about this. seems using a NAS is an issue - it works fine and is immediate whenever my computer is switched on but the whole idea of me having a NAS is so i don't have to have my computer switched on. Sometimes it causes the acryan to reboot and others it does connect, but after about 10 mins. really frustrating. i will try changing to DHCP on the acryan to see if this makes any difference. have been trying other things with no success will let you know how i get on
